Day 79: Discovery Gateway Field Trip

Today I'm grateful Axzona is a part of a preschool. I love the neighborhood preschool, Lucky Ducks Day school and everyone in it. Today we got to go to Discovery Gateway for a field trip, so fun! Discovery gateway is all about supporting children in play, exploring their world and having fun. There's a beehive section, where these ball pit balls go through tubes up to the ceiling and musical notes can be played when dropping a ball through holes. Another section is for kids to go to Construction zones, moving (huge foam) blocks and building with them, a really adorable house with costumes to wear and being a mommy or chef, loved it in there. There was a grocery store with little kid sized carts and pretend food everywhere, on shelves etc. There was a farm and you could gather the eggs from under the "chickens", ride a horse, climb a rock wall...super fun area.
We then went upstairs, it's more for older kids but she still loved it. There's a tube the goes from one side of the building to the other and you can talk to someone like that, pretty cool! There's also an area to build a paper plane and an air tunnel for it to fly it in. There's sooooo much fun to have there, can't cover it all.
If you ever want to go, let me know because we can get in for cheap if we go as a group! If you go with just the fam, it's super costly....let me know I'd love to be able to take my other kids too and share in those mems with you:)
