Gratitude for u. |
I love Facebook for the unity and connection that is created, I'm grateful for their vision, it aligns with my spirit.
I love that I can express myself openly, freely, and safely in the world as the nurturing, inspiring, innocent, honest woman that I am.
It's so strange to think of days that didn't include FB. What did they do? lol j/k
I agree, it's not perfect; people use it to check out of life, or cope with it. It's an addiction for some and a vice of annoyance for others. For me it simply stays a source of unity and inspiration. The way I see it is, if someone is vulgar or irritating me too much, then I'm done being friends and the truth is they don't align with who I really am anyway.
I also filter my friends list twice a year, with the thought; "would I recognize them in the grocery store."
I am mostly grateful for the inspirational quotes I receive from my friends. Thank you for the connection~
Here are a couple:
If I had my child to raise all over again,
I'd build self esteem first, and the house later.
I'd finger paint more, and point the finger less.
I would do less correcting and more connecting.
I'd take my eyes off my watch, and watch with my eyes.
I would care to know less and know to care more.
I'd take more hikes and fly more kites.
I'd stop playing serious, and seriously play.
I would run through more fields and gaze at more stars.
I'd do more hugging and less tugging.
I'd see the oak tree in the acorn more often.
I would be firm less often, and affirm much more.
I'd model less about the love of power,
And more about the power of love.
Good news....I have a new born and 3/4/7yr old still, so yay all is well!
