I look at my life and all the events that led up to me meeting Dustin. He, his ex and I have been connected since birth and I believe before even that.
It's so strange to think that his ex was once my angel and my friend.
It feels like she isn't that anymore, that she isn't who she was or is. Like who we were in heaven, and all the promises we made. It feels like we knew what would happen down here if our spirits got too hidden and if our egos were allowed to run the show.
2 years ago I wrote this poem to her, long before:
A Sisters' Wish
Did you know that we'll be sisters again in Heaven?
Did you know that you always will be, even before then?
Did you know that you just changed history?
Did you know that I'm sorry for any pain you've gone through?
Did you know that the burdens you've carried have been lifted from you?
Did you know that many blessings are on their way?
Did you know that gratitude is shown through action,
not just in what we say?
Did you know that tears of joy are the best way to cry?
Did you know that a heart full of love, feels as if you could fly?
Did you know that I wish you more happiness than you can take?
I wish for you to fly when you feel you're falling.
I wish for you to be found when you feel lost.
I wish for you to have an abundance of love when you feel lonely.
I wish for you to have clarity when life is a blur.
I wish for you to have the answers when you have too many questions.
I wish for you to achieve your dreams, when you feel like you've failed.
I wish for you to know that all is well, when all else seems bleak.
I wish for you to have light, when there is nothing but the darkest of nights.
I wish for your shoulders to be strengthened when the burdens get too hard to bear.
I wish for this to not be goodbye.
I wish for this to be a step.
I wish for this to be healing.
I wish for the door of love and communication to stay open.
I wish for honesty between all.
I wish for peace and unity.
I wish for joy and friendship.
But most of all,
I wish for my sister to be my friend again, here on Earth.
Did you know that when the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know peace?
So thank you for the peace.
How do we get back?
It just feels like we're so off track.
The answer to my own question is forgiveness and unconditional love for all involved.
It's time to be free.
I'm praying that this injunction is dismissed so we can all heal and move forward with love in our lives.
